Made for a proffessor who wanted it for one of her students. She studied scent communication in raccoons and placed odors inside a metal security box with holes drilled in it. She then observed the responses of the raccoons to different odors. So, that's why he's holding a box. I thought it was really nice that a proffessor would care about her students so much. ^_^
